wow it's amazing what you'd do to escape making a DNA model also writing a brochure in chinese and maths and maybe also writing an essay on mendel
so here we are I do believe I am a TROGLODYTE which would of course explain everything conveniently although I fancy myself more a bonobo or indeed a hippo being a neanderthal would sum up my condition in a nutshell especially leaving lines like this
(on an interesting sidenote I think my feet are large and horrible also my hands)

Sloths The Sloth Lumbers From Branch To Branch Like Education
Koalas Koalas Are Cute And Cuddly Unlike Education
Sharks Sharks Are Mean And Vicious Like Teachers

This entry is about platypi and their babies, puggles. I like the word puggle. Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle Puggle. I have finished all my Christmas presents and decorated the house until it is bursting at the seams with Christmas trees and nativity scenes and all that and also I've cleaned up my and my sister's mutual bedroom so that I have more sittingspace on the table. I am now working on a poem which is called The Platypus is a Noble Beast but I can't get it to rhyme. It's go teverything you need to know about the PLATYPUS. This is to accompany the picture book The Platypus of Happiness. For your sakes I shall include them here.

Just yesterday, my sister fought a losing battle with my ample bottom. As the impending darkness closed in on her, she is reported to have said "I see the light!". She sustained massive injuries on her lower lip, and was rushed to the ICU unit (and tomorrow she goes to see the GP). Because of all this, and her supposed misfortunes, she has been going around with a pout.
It wasn't my fault, anyway. I don't know what her head was doing on the sofa. I had only raised my posterior from the sofa for ten seconds to try on a pair of new pants for my mother whose tastes are fastidious and who claims I look like a tramp!!! No one expects a head to be where a bottom belongs. I suppose she was slightly top heavy that afternoon. That is what happens when one does too much last minute cramming for Chinese. I know the feeling. Somedays I topple over when trying to reach my toes after a few tense hours of struggling with a Chinese book.
Today my grandmother gave her a slab of aloe vera to soothe and ease the pain. I hear it worked like a charm!!
My sister has an exam tomorrow. I hope her lips don't bother her. At least it isn't as bad as if she had her braces on!!
Anyway, tomorrow is childrens' day. I have a day off. YAY!!!! I'm going to a party!!!!! Glad my birthday isn't during exam time. My exams are in 4 weeks' time and Chinese words are snaking their way out of my nostrils. I have to wrestle them back in.
PS my sister expresses her wish that I include the following website: http://www.snackfoam.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/gaytest1.html HAVEFUN

Christmas is over. First I am given tons of homework and then they inform me that Christmas is over. Easter, though, is coming. After Easter what happens? I get more homework. Life is unfair.

Life is unfair. I am given a 3-day break and they give me 6 pieces of homework. On top of that, I have to study for a test which has no great impact on my results in my report book. On a normal day, even, they give me 4 pieces of homework - one for each subject. I don't like school.

I've just returned from my holiday in New Zealand. I did, however (though I'd have liked to), not go and see sperm whales. The nearest I got to seeing them was in a book I bought from a 2nd-hand bookshop (but that's another story). Anyway, I had fun in New Zealand. What stood out most were the red pandas, the kiwis, the sheep and the penguins. In fact, I think I'll change my name to the bouncy red panda or the splatted penguin or the hyper kiwi (though I don't think there's any hope that Sister will let me). Aside from that, New Zealand was extremely cold. You could not go out without approximately 17 layers of clothing without freezing to death. It was apparently summer, but I could see no difference between it and winter. (In spite of that)The people there were extremely nice. I have to go now to make changes to the exact shape and height of the Christmas tree as well as to finish making Christmas presents. In a dreadful rush. Please bear with my punctuation mistakes if there are any. "My tale is done, go next door if you want a better one" (from Jack my hedgehog by the grimm brothers, which my sister read to me in New Zealand, about a half-boy half-hedgehog person named Jack My Hedgehog )

I don't know why we had a spelling bee. That's an American tradition. We're Singaporean, we have to learn our mother tongue. Why should we have spelling bees on top of that? Our school didn't win. Twasn't my fault. I'm sure I got all the words correct. Except for this one: Rearrange these letters to form a word: LYCEER I bet none of you can figure that one out, especially after spending the last 44 minutes spelling words which would daunt even the great Big Sister. Talking about mother tongue, my mother sure doesn't speak Chinese. If we had only to learn English, school would be much funner. If we didn't have Miss P as our teacher, it would be even more funner. She thinks that we think our class is the 'the cream of the crop', but she says that we are 'only sour cream.' She thinks that that is a good joke. Have to go now. Food beckons.

I'm going to watch the history drama thingy on Saturday. My sister says that it's going to be good. Yes. I think so too. What with school-famous people like Karen Lee and Nathanel. hee hee. I've heard that Ee Ann is going to be in it too! I've read the script for Karen Lee's school's performance. It sounds good. Anyway, I think that the 'uncle scene' is cute. But I think the scriptwriter could have made Nathenal play a milder part. Whee!!

I've just discovered Flanders & Swann. They sing (or rather they sang 'cos they're both dead now) witty and happy songs. My favourite songs are the gnu and the hippo songs. see lyrics in comment.

I want to make a correction to the previous livejournal entry. My mother has not put me on a diet yet. And she wants a rectraction and an apology for my misinformation. She says she will merely not be enticing me with nice things for tea. She also says that this regime will only start on Monday. Previously she said it would only start after I had finished my birthday cake. But since I have thus stopped eating my cake, she has been afraid of it going mouldy and so has decided not to peg the start of my 'diet' (Is that OK Mum? I used the term in inverted commas)to the final consumption of my cake. I think I will finish my cake now.

My mother has put me on a diet. How horrible. She says that when I finish my birthday cake I will have to diet. That means no tea and snacks. Argh!!!!!! Don't take your teas and snacks for granted.
